Wedding Cake Portions & Pricing
Please refer to the table below for our serving portion guide. Our standard wedding cakes are 4.5 inches deep and our servings are based on finger portions (1 x 1 x 4.5 inches). If you wish to serve the wedding cake as a dessert we recommend a larger portion size (1 x 2 x 4.5 inches)

The level of work and design involved for a wedding cake can vary hugely. The prices therefore vary also. As these cakes are often intricately decorated the price will depend on the time involved to decorate the cake rather than the number of portions. For a more detailed breakdown of the costs involved please contact us as we would be more than willing to provide you with a detailed quotation based on your requirements and budget.
At Sugarbird Cakes we don’t have a set of specific cake designs as all weddings are unique therefore all cakes are unique. With that in mind, we don’t have a formal price list, but please get in touch and we will be happy to quote you based on your own requirements. We also do wedding consultations to discuss your requirements and give you a sample of our delicious cake. Please get in touch to book in.
Kitchen / Cutting Cake
These cakes are a fantastic way of keeping the cost of your wedding cake down to a minimum. If your budget does not stretch as far then we can provide a single 10” square cake covered in sugar paste to match the main colour of your wedding cake. Price for 10” Cutting cake (sponge) – £50
